Hi Stephane,

I am using itanium montecito machine with perfmon. And according to my
understanding , its support is there with libpfm-3.2 which I have it
installed on my machine. I also have 2.6.16 kernel with perfmon support
enabled. Can I use the legacy perfmonctl calls with this setup ? I am
getting invalid argument error when i try to write PFM_WRITE_PMCS.

I also saw on the mailing archive wherein somebody used libiberty.h. Is it
needed and why ?

Thanks a lot .

Regards,
Vivek
