It's always been my understanding that the presence of something in the
FAQ says implicitly that something is lacking in the documentation. In
the Apache documentation project, we have taken the approach that if
something is indeed a FAQ, then we need to fix the documentation so that
folks don't need to A it quite so F.
Please don't take this as saying that community ownership of the FAQ is
a good idea. I think that this is a wonderful move. It's just something
to keep an eye open for. If there are things which are in the FAQ purely
because something is inadequated documented, fix it in the docs, rather
than in the FAQ.
