I'm completely unable to fathom your message.

I think life is easier for collaborative projects if copyright on the
work belongs in one place.  In this case, that might be me, that might
be Larry, that might be YAS.  But someone has to be the one to approve
reuse, respond to copyright infringement claims, and sign off on
things like "I need your permission to distribute your FAQ as popup
help in my commercial IDE".

I'd rather it was YAS because (a) they are not me, so I won't get my
ass sued when Elaine put the text of "Gone with the Wind" into the
FAQ, (b) they're Good Guys, and (c) they exist.

Does that make sense?
