I should point out my hidden agenda of making dual-life modules (on CPAN and in core) easier to manage. Ideally, I'd like for core modules to still have a CPAN life, and then some certain version just gets schlurped into the core. This is because I've been frustrated a number of times by modules that died on CPAN when they got integrated into the core, but needed bugs to be fixed, but wouldn't see new versions until perl got maintenance releases... -Ken
