There's not much of an API for plugins yet. You can load arbitrary
modules but there are limited opportunities for them to hook
themselves in.
We got as far as declaring that we liked Ovid's trait based
suggestion - and I don't think it's going to be hard to implement -
but I'm neck deep in paying work this week :)
