Actually, it was designed for the test suites of our internal projects at $work.
Part of my TPF grant was to make it more useful for CPAN stuff. As long as you
can create a TAP archive (using TAP::Harness::Archive) then you can use Smolder.
We have a perl script that updates our project from SVN, runs the test suite
with the --archive flag and then uploads the archive to smolder.

I'm also planning to work with buildbot to do more automation of the
checkout/run/upload part of that.

Of course there is that :) But if you're willing, I'd be happy to have some more
eyes/hands working on Smolder to make it useful to more than just my $work.
