I've been working
around the the problems that stat() and "-s" have with files
that are > 2 GB
in size by hosting out to the OS and doing a "dir".
I have seen several
conversations in the ActiveState archives discussing
this issue, but a
fix has never been mentioned. I can still reproduce
this
with ActivePerl
build 620, so I'm assuming that it has not been
addressed.
Does anyone have a
workaround for this problem that doesn't involve
hosting out to the
OS and running a command-line utility?
I wonder if there's
a function I could call with Win32::API???
Any info would be
greatly appreciated!
