I have a Perl cgi application that runs under IIS on an NT4 server, part of
its functionality is to submit, control and delete jobs being run under
Dr.Solomon's Scheduler. This scheduler was chosen both because of its
granularity (many jobs can be started at 1 minute intervals) and because of
its ease of external control by means of registry entries.

I have now been asked to put the same application onto a Windows 2000
Advanced Server (again under IIS).

I am concerned that the registry code might not continue to work. Either
because of a different interface to the registry (I am still using Perl
v5.005_3, build 522 and Win32API-Registry) or different behavior of the
registry under Win2K.

Can anyone confirm my worries or better still re-assure me that my code
should still work when ported to Win2K ?
