I was looking to avoid using Microsoft scripting engine because its so
cludgy. Win32::OLE, was exactly what I was looking for thank you.

What are you after?

Is it VB that you don't like, or ADSI? Perl can talk to ADSI/IIS through
Win32::OLE.

Does anyone know of any methods of connecting to the IIS metabase (w3svc)
other than using Microsofts adsutil.vbs script?

thanks
Chuck
