Hi,

I found the easiest way is to stop the service and then modify the registry
key -

HKLM\System\CCS\Services\TheService\Start

And set the REG_DWORD to a 4. (Disabled)

This certainly works for Windows 2000/XP but I am unsure of the value for
NT4 machines.

Subject: Disabling a service..

Hello,
I know you can use Win32::Service to stop a service but does anyone
know how to change it's startup type to disabled? Or am I overlooking
something.

Thank You,
John
