We can reboot a remote Windows (Probably NT genre )computer using WMI of perl
or pstools provided by sysinternals.com , freeware -- which comes with the
utility psshutdown , for that you need to possess either DomainAdmin
privileges or Local admin on the remote windows machine would suffice.
and I think for Linux , you can try execute ssh with command line....

Subject: Remote rebooting

Any thoughts on how to write a perl script to reboot a remote computer
with multiple Operating systems (Windows/Linux/Unix) installed to a
particular Operating System ?

Cheers!!
