Why is it that a Win32 GUI perl program's screen objects (e.g. ListViews, etc.) become visually degraded between the time an EVENT is fired(and some procedure code is executed) until the time the procedure code completes and the program once again is in the ready state waiting for another EVENT to be fired off? Is there any way to stop this(such as repainting the objects via a timer every second or two)? Eric Hansen Dallas, Texas U.S.A.
