Greetings,
I was using Sender.pm from my page update.cgi and getting intermittent
results.
Sometimes the mail sent sometimes not. So for grins and giggles I wanted to
try Net::SMTP and using postmail. Haven't gotten around to the
Net::smtp but was trying the postmail. I am unable to send the mail using
the
command:
$result = system "postmail -FUMTOOLS -fmgray\@wcom.net -S\"Software Update
Notice\" -Hmailserver.location.wcom.net mgray\@wcom.net <mailmsg.txt";
It is unable to send the message.
How do I translate the value from $result to a meaningful message for
troubleshooting.
(yes I know that NET::SMTP is supposed to be easier...I just wanted to play
with different
options ;-)
Thanks in advance for your help!!!
