I couldn't get much help with this problem on perl-xml last week. Perhaps
I'll have a better luck here. At least, maybe someone here can recommend
further course of action.
Here's the problem... I have an XML file with some content in cp-1251
encoding. I compiled the proper map file according to the documentation in
XML::Encoding. I know the encoding file works because I can parse the file
just fine running a script off a command line. But when I try to parse it
from within PerlScript, the ASP pages crashes with a helpful "Internal
Error" message.
I installed perl on that machine only a few weeks ago, so all the modules
are fresh off CPAN.
Matt Sergeant had recommended I check the file permissions. I did. It
didn't look like the permissions were an issue.
Any other suggestions (please ask me for more information if needed, I just
don't know what else to report, I don't even know from which side to
approach this)?
