Uhm, that was the discussion about not loading Carp. Why do you find this ironic? Btw, my graph-perl-usage project is about the same topic: don't load unnec. modules. And I frequently use it to figure out what is all loaded when you do "use Some::Random::Module" - sometimes the resulting graph is outright scary...
