The main problem with POD is that we have to write the tools to do anything with it. Witness the endless hacking/cursing/hacking/cursing cycle on the existing POD tools. Do we really want to continue? Personally I think POD sucks bigtime, although I'm sure hordes of people will now spring up to defend it. I still think that with the correct DTD writing the specs in XML would be doable. Alan Burlison
