A bit? They would be utterly useless.

As a plain:

  add Px, Py, Pz

(as well as almost any other PMC related opcode) can be overloaded by
running a PASM/PIR function, there is no usage for other registers then
P at all. (S registers have value sematics, they are of course
invalidated too)

Perl6 natural types would be unimplementable - go figure ...

That'll cause the biggest architecture change ever. But we don't do such
changes now - says Dan - so I'm not worried ;)

And Dan's "proposal" does still not solve the reuse of temporary
registers.
