Or just z, as in "matchez" or a twisted "s" $foo mat $bar $foo mz $bar $foo lik $bar $foo z $bar $foo zz $bar $foo vs $bar I know, it's stretching. :-/ But if there's *any* operations we can just use one or two letters for, we can get back some of the needed punctuation chars. With named ops, people don't mind the required whitespace so much. MikeL
