It might be nice to support perl by putting a link to Amazon with suitable
perl organisations (eg perl mongers) on the page. Doing the per-book links
with a "preferred affiliate" could be seen as lacking neutrality, but would
a discreet list of various affiliate sponsoring links to Amazon's front
page as suggested by list members (and other book retailers) be
un-contentious, as it would allow choice of who your purchase funds?
I also realise I'm suggesting more work for someone else with this. Sorry
