Hello,

I got myself into a cpan mess, perhaps you can help?

Whenever I try to install a package with "cpan", I get the following error:
===
Can't locate object method "new" via package "CPAN::Meta::Validator" (perhaps
you forgot to load "CPAN::Meta::Validator"?) at
/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8/ExtUtils/MM_Any.pm line 819.
# Looks like your test died before it could output anything.
Running make test
  Make had some problems, maybe interrupted? Won't test
Running make install
  Make had some problems, maybe interrupted? Won't install
====

Not sure how it came to this, probably after a failed "install Bundle::CPAN".

But now I can't install anything, and I'm wondering if there's a way to undo
the damage.

Any suggestions are welcomed.

Perl version 5.8.8, CPAN version 1.7602 on CentOS 5.4

Thanks,
 -gordon
