Well, from what you've described it
sounds like PDL-2.4.3 built just fine.
Try running 'make test' from the top
level PDL-2.4.3 build directory. Do a
bunch of tests run and and all passed
message at the end? If so, you built a
working PDL-2.4.3!

You should be able to run 'perl -Mblib
perldl' from the same top level build
directory to run the perldl shell. Type
'demo' at the perldl> prompt to see the
various demos you could run.
