I used to have the Simile Timeline on my web site a long time ago. It
was fancy, but a pain in the tush to shepherd. Seems like they have
got a lot of new doodads on there now. Yes, it would be nice to use
one of them at some point. But, if folks can add their info to the
spreadsheet at [3], I can always repurpose it to a Simile widget later
on. The Google map for now, is the lowest hanging fruit.

By the way, I can't figure out how to make the Fusion table public
editable. Seems like I can only give edit privs to folks with Google
email. Hence, the 2-step method -- update the publicly, anonymously
editable spreadsheet, which then updates the Fusion table, which then
updates the map.

For starters, I have added meself and David Mertens (the only other
PDL user whose discipline and location I know).
