I think this looks like an enormous improvement Daniel, thank you very much for 
the effort.

I have two small comments: On the tutorials page: 
http://pdl.perl.org/future/?page=tutorials - the owl icon is really enormous at 
the end of the page, was that intentional? 

The other is that now after seeing the infinity icon on the web page I realise 
that I actually most naturally read it as 'pool' or 'poodl' - rather than pdl - 
does anyone else have that problem? Ah well, I guess it doesn't matter so much 
but it does bug me :)
