I like the search bar in the banner - I naturally look to the top now for
search bars as many companies websites I use place it there. I like the test
site better.

I have implemented Michiel's request to the best of my ability:

1) I managed to put the search box on the banner without making the entire site
push down when you do a search (only the page content goes down, while the
sidebar stays in place).
2) I removed the images that duplicate the ones on the slideshow.
Please take a look. Is this better?
