You can also get the pre-release version from
your git repository:

   git checkout v2.4.7_pre1

See the sf.net page on how to get a read-only
copy of the PDL git repository.  The new web
site page gives the commands:

   http://pdl.perl.org/2.4.7RC/?page=develop
