Is Zentra working on the 3d TriD part of the book, he is also working on the
plplot part too,

I Will help with 3d Trid !

I sent some TriD 3d piddles to Zentra, and I think there is some core Idea's
that I used

to get a good feel for the software, I would like to help on the

section, I feel that I think Zentra might of gotten absorbed... in the search
for a complete theory of physics
which is a good thing, cause it creates drive, but I know everyone still has to
focus on a priority

so any one wants to send me what been done so far, maybe we can get the Trid
Part done by next

week-end ,,  or point me to the proper Git Command line "please help" to get a
copy of the POD

I think I would be nice to have a good example for each different

function and word in the TriD3D  PDL Language that can show a good amount of
detail...

basically to cycle threw rvals xvals yvals zvals and all there combinations I
found a useful

learning experience..

Thanks, Cheers..

These are the only pod files I see in the
pdl-book git:

   00README.pod
   old/PDL.Book.Functions.pod
   old/pdl_tut_pgplot/PDL.Tut.PGPLOT.pod
   old/PDL::Book::Chap3.pod
   old/PDL::Book::Style.pod
   Overview.pod
   PDL/Book/Creating.pod
   PDL/Book/Functions.pod
   PDL/Book/NiceSlice.pod
   PDL/Book/pdftest.pod
   PDL/Book/PGPLOT.pod
   PDL/Book/Piddle.pod
   PDL/Book/PLplot.pod
   PDL/Book/PP.pod

None of these looks like chapter 1 or chapter 2
from the original book.

I think the current release candidate is good to
go for the release.  I need to take another whack
at the release notes and the documentation still
could use some cleanup but the book would be a
bigger bang for the buck.

I'll aim to get a reworked TriD chapter by next
weekend and then the writeup on the PDL shell(s).
Maybe you could add the index/TOC/whatever that
ties them all together.  It is difficult to review
the overall document without it.  I would like to
have the book available online on our web site
in addition to the PDF publication.

Also, maybe we should standardize on a location
for the images (maybe a separate subdirectory
and naming scheme like img/subdir where subdir
is all lowercase version of the POD source file
name---to help systems that can't or won't
differentiate between case in filenames...).

Cheers,
Chris
