I've anticipated that the problem might have been that the wiki says:
"If you don't have the PPM utility then your best option is to use
PAR::Dist::InstallPPD ...."
which I've now changed to:
"If you are using Strawberry Perl or don't have the PPM utility then your
best option is to use PAR::Dist::InstallPPD ...."
But if that's not the documentation that threw you, please let me know where
it was, so that I can correct it.
