I should mention the priority convention I am using:

6-9 :: on the list for the next stable PDL release
5    :: don't know / don't care for next release
1-4 :: less important, not on critical path

That is, 5 is undecided/maybe while the greater priority
means plausible for inclusion in the next release where
the actual value is an estimate of "certainty".

Priorities less than 5 mean the task is either poorly
specified, not supported by user/developer demand and
use cases.

Priority 1 is for out-of-date, lingering, or for-ref-only tasks.
Other developers feel free to amend or suggest priority
as their availability to participate or a clarification of the
requirement, implementation discovery,... occur.
