Hi Rich Oh yes – we have a current lockdown and 6 month recovery plan and really wish the pests would abide with social distancing – forever! Regards adie

I count myself with the many folks who are pleased that you’re attentive to the security and longevity of the collections. Regarding activities in the COVID-19 era. Encourage the procurement officers of your institution to request a written COVID-19 health and safety plan from each vendor who might step foot on the property. The document should ideally detail the vendor’s plans for monitoring the health of their workers (and in keeping them home if they are ill or have recently been exposed). It should further describe the means to reduce risks whilst on the job (PPE, sanitizing products, etc.). For each task, facility operators might assess the risks and evaluate the vendor’s health and safety plan (and suggest modifications as appropriate). In my experience, many pest management professionals here have already developed their own document, and the personnel have been reasonably religious in abiding by the procedures. -Rich From: 'Adrian Doyle' via Museumpests <pestlist@googlegroups.com<mailto:pestlist@googlegroups.com>> Reply-To: "pestlist@googlegroups.com<mailto:pestlist@googlegroups.com>" <pestlist@googlegroups.com<mailto:pestlist@googlegroups.com>> Date: Monday, April 27, 2020 at 10:06 AM To: "pestlist@googlegroups.com<mailto:pestlist@googlegroups.com>" <pestlist@googlegroups.com<mailto:pestlist@googlegroups.com>> Subject: RE: [pestlist] RE: Pest ID Hi Rich My stupid typing – I’m not furloughed just working 15 kilometers away.. doh That is something I’m working on as a side effect of lack of people in the building at the moment as the routine cleaning is not being done so the cleaning teams as well as collections staff don’t catch it!
