Hi Adie,

Hard to be 100% but they look like Yellow swarming fly Thaumatomyia notata to
me.

Kind Regards

Subject: [PestList] unidentified insects between window panes

Folks
We have a collection of dead insects which have found their way between two
panes of glass in a skylight window
We cant get to them without breaking the glass
I suspect these are desiccated, bleached by the sun, drain flies but would
value any extra thoughts.
I’m concerned how they got in sandwiched between the glass and we have a
collection in the store below which may be at risk
Regards
Adie
