Dear Shelly, the local freezer could be not insure that the trees will be not vehicle of pests. The major pest that can be arrived would be xylophagous coleopteran e.g. Cerambicidae but also some Anobidae. I would prefer in that case a insecticidal application to be sure.

The Size is 83” x 76” x 109” and the tree has been out of the ground for 2 years and exposed to the elements. We are reaching out for some guidance to ensure we are not introducing any pests into our building. We have been researching local freezer trucks that can handle such a large object. Has anyone ever had to deal with this and if so, could you please steer us in the right direction? Any advice would be welcome.
