Hello, Not sure what species but it is thrips. They are plant feeders. I am pretty sure they are not a threat for you.

Our conservator described it as being jumpy and pretty quick moving. I am thinking it is a Springtail based on the jumping, size and more pointed tail, but not positive as I do not believe they are known to inhabit paper. I also was thinking it was maybe a booklouse but the tail looks too pointed to be one, again not positive though. Any thoughts on what it could be and potential next steps to take would be greatly appreciated!
