Those who came to the last meeting will have seen the small industrial
PC I had, fitted with 8GB Compact Flash.
Now that this is collecting data and storing it in MySQL we are able to
get an idea of how much it will need. It turns out we should be able to
comfortably store over 400 years worth of data, on the basis of taking
readings every couple of minutes.
Sometimes you forget just how big 1GB is!
