I have just been given a brand new BT Business Hub. So far it is USELESS!!
It seems to be locked into BT in some sort of parasitic relationship that denies the existence of all other ISPs!! The result is that even the Wireless bit is simply not working! It seems that it needs to be connected to BT to work!
The DHCP is working but that is about all, and I do not want it to work!! and is a fiddle to disable, and I do not want to use this home hub as my Modem!!
At a recent meeting we flashed a Buffalo wireless router with something called ??DD-WRT. I have had a look at their site, but there is no mention of BT either for or against!
I hoped to use it as a wireless router! Surely that should be simple enough!!
Does anyone have any ideas, or shall I simply make it into an expensive door stop!?
