I just upgraded to Ubuntu 8.04.

My numeric keypad no longer works. Just the the normal numeric bit on a standard (Logitech) desktop PS/2 keyboard. Ubuntu has it as a standard UK 105 key keyboard.

Num-lock "works" (the light comes on) but none of the numeric keys do anything, whether as numbers (numlock on) or as cursor keys, *except* that the Enter key still works (numlock or not) and the [5] and [0/insert] keys with numlock off behave like a mouse right-click, which makes me think that maybe somehow it is emulating a mouse?

Additional info:

The keyboard goes through a KVM switch; the other PC recognises it just fine. I also use synergy to share the keyboard with another PC, and using the problem follows the mouse (ie the keyboard still doesn't work on the other PC via synergy).
