The company I contract for in Surrey has a room full of something like ten CRT 
monitors gathering dust that they will give away to a good cause.

As far as we know they all work fine - some 19", some 17", all CRTs.

Can you use them? I can transport them no problem so they would be free for 
school use.

I did it as well (or should I say you all did it and I happily
followed.)

I tried the first of the RM machines with the colour depth set in the
lts.conf and wow it worked! I will get the others set up tomorrow.

I hoped that we could use these old machines and it will hopefully be
the start of out linux 'revolution' in school. We today have been
offered a bulk load of monitors from another school and have applied for
the Elonex One beta testing program.

Full steam ahead!
