(Was Re: [Peterboro] Schoolvisit - Thurs 8th) Andy, The company I contract for in Surrey has a room full of something like ten CRT monitors gathering dust that they will give away to a good cause. As far as we know they all work fine - some 19", some 17", all CRTs. Can you use them? I can transport them no problem so they would be free for school use. (Was Re: [Peterboro] Schoolvisit - Thurs 8th) I did it as well (or should I say you all did it and I happily followed.) I tried the first of the RM machines with the colour depth set in the lts.conf and wow it worked! I will get the others set up tomorrow. I hoped that we could use these old machines and it will hopefully be the start of out linux 'revolution' in school. We today have been offered a bulk load of monitors from another school and have applied for the Elonex One beta testing program. Full steam ahead!
