I would stick to something dead simple but that shows the TRUE POWER of 
linux graphics - the SCREENSAVERS!!! Yes show the windows users that 
they too can bee cool again with such built-in features likeUbuntu's 
Matrix Screensaver, SkyRocket (3d Fireworks), and EndGame (3d Chess 
simulator) screensavers, all part of the base installation

Thats what I would do. You need to show them something with a bit of 
wow-factor so they go "Hey I want that screensaver on MY pc...."

In otherwords, if they want these cool screensavers, they need to get linux!
