I was wondering if anyone else in this group uses a flavour of Linux on non Intel/AMD X64/X32 hardware?
I'm currently installing Ubuntu 8.10 on a Apple PowerMac G4(2 * PowerPC 450Mhz CPUs, 1.5Gb RAM, ATI AGP Graphics). Obviously, you need to use the PowerPC distribution on this machine. If you have installed Linux on non 'PC' hardware - what were your experiences? What distribution did you find that worked best? (Linux only - not Solaris on SPARC, HP-UX etc...)
