Gentoo has a quite active PowerPC team, especially PPC64 as that is the architecture of the Playstation III. There are a few PowerPC-specific quirks that you'll have to get used to, but any good installation manual will explain them to you. For one, you'll be using yaboot instead of LILO or Grub. Also, you will be using mac-fdisk to partition. (For which in most cases no pretty GUI exists, unless of course parted is able to handle that now) Regards, Tony V.
