The second workshop on Quality Assurance and Software Testing (QAST06)
June 26-29, 2006
Monte Carlo Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

The effort to realize quality is the largest fraction of overall software
cost. Software testing and debugging cost range from 50% to 80% of the cost
of producing
a first working version of a software system. The goal of QAST is to bring
together researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry.
The workshop will be held in conjunction with 2006 International
multi-conference in Computer Science and Computer Engineering.
You are invited to submit a paper of approximately 7 pages. Papers will be
evaluated for originality, significance, clarity, and soundness.
Researchers in the topical area will referee each paper. Some selected
papers will also be published as a special collection by
the Journals soon after the conference. All accepted papers will be
published by CSREA Press (ISBN) in hard copy.

Topics covering industrial and academic research are invited. Including, but
not limited to:

Web based software testing
Interface and Conformance Testing
Formal Verification methods for component-based software engineering
Software testing at architectural levels
Object-oriented software testing
validation methods for component-based software engineering
Security, safety, and reliability testing
Aspect-Oriented Software testing
Performance Testing and techniques for component-based systems
Usability Testing and techniques for component-based systems
Model Based Tests Generation Tool
Scenario based software testing
Architectural-based testing
Regression testing issues, strategies, and techniques for
component-based systems
Case studies/reports
Fault-based testing and techniques for component-based systems
Tool support for software testing

Please send your paper (7 pages, single-spaced, font size of 10-12) to
Hassan Reza by the due date. E-mail and Fax submissions are also acceptable.
