CIT 2006 Call For Papers The 6th IEEE International Conference on Computer and Information Technology Seoul, Korea September 20-22, 2006, http://cit.korea.ac.kr/ Organized by Korea University, In Cooperation with KISS, KICS, IEEK, KIPS, Univ. of Aizu, Sponsored by IEEE Computer Society SCOPE AND TOPICS Computing and information technology continues to be a rapidly developing area of increasing importance in many aspects of our lives. It is quite difficult to keep a balance between general knowledge and expertise in specific areas. Embracing multidisciplinary studies and providing opportunities for exchanging research results across a wide range of fields in computer and information technology are the main features of the IEEE International Conference on Computer and Information Technology. This conference will serve as one of the major forums for researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to discuss and exchange ideas and opinions, and envision the future of computer and information technology. CIT 2006 conference also serves as an important academic activity associated with the centenary celebration of Korea University. The technical program will consist of 12 technical tracks, preceded with workshops. Authors must indicate which track (only one track) the submission is made to. Papers should properly place the work within the field, cite related work, and clearly indicate the innovative aspects of the work and its contribution to the field. Authors are required to submit papers according to the instructions available at http://cit.korea.ac.kr/. REVIEW PROCESS AND PUBLICATION Papers will be peer-reviewed by at least 3 reviewers from an International Program Committee. The accepted papers have to be presented orally at the conference and will be published in proceedings of IEEE CIT 2006 which will be cited by both EI and SCI fully. Accepted papers may also be selected for journal publication.
