Hi Matthew, The TAO manual states that (preface, page vi) "However, TAO is not compatible with PETSc installations using complex data types." (The tao examples all require !complex builds. When I tried to run them with a petsc build with +complex the compiler complains of incompatible pointer types and the example crashes at runtime)
Is there any plan to support TAO with complex scalars ? I had planned to re-use the TS object in an optimization loop with the F vector defined both as a parameter in TS and as the independent variable in the outer TAO loop.
