I apologize is if this is beyond the scope of this list. I installed
SLBD and it appears its function is to check services for an entire pool
of addresses, not an address within a pool. I'm trying to do the
following (and maybe SLBD does this and I'm just misreading the
documentation):

1) 3 Servers in Table -> 192.168.1.1, 192.168.1.2, 192.168.1.3
2) All servers listening on 25, 110 and 143
3) SMTP Daemon on 192.168.1.1 dies
4) Magic Application detects this failure and removes 192.168.1.1 from
table and reloads it without that address.
5) Magic Application detects service is restored and re-adds 192.168.1.1
to the table and reloads it.

Regards,

Mike
