I just pushed a change to tab-complete because of a comment in the column-list patch series. I checked and your v72-0002 does not conflict, but it doesn't fully work either; AFAICT you'll have to change it so that the WHERE clause appears in the COMPLETE_WITH(",") line I just added. As far as I tested it, with that change the completion works fine.
Unrelated to these two patches: Frankly I would prefer that these completions offer a ";" in addition to the "," and "WHERE". But we have no precedent for doing that (offering to end the command) anywhere in the completion rules, so I think it would be a larger change that would merit more discussion. And while we're talking of larger changes, I would love it if other commands such as DROP TABLE offered a "," completion after a table name, so that a command can be tab-completed to drop multiple tables. (Same with other commands that process multiple comma-separated objects, of course.) -- Álvaro Herrera 39°49'30"S 73°17'W — https://www.EnterpriseDB.com/ "On the other flipper, one wrong move and we're Fatal Exceptions" (T.U.X.: Term Unit X - http://www.thelinuxreview.com/TUX/)
