A colleague of mine is very excited about the new \bind functionality in psql. However he is puzzled by the fact that there is no obvious way to bind a NULL value, except for something like: ``` create table t (v text); insert into t values (case when $1 = '' then NULL else $1 end) \bind '' \g select v, v is null from t; ``` Maybe we should also support something like ... \bind val1 \null val3 \g ? -- Best regards, Aleksander Alekseev
