Please find attached a simple patch renaming PgStat_GlobalStats to PgStat_BgWriterStats. Its related variables and functions are renamed as well and use the term "bgwriter" instead of "global". Comments are updated as well. This patch also removes stats_timestamp from PgStat_GlobalStats and uses instead a static variable in pgstat.c, making all the structures dedicated to each component clearer. Regards, -- Michael
