I just wanted a little discussion to clarify this new patch does not fix
the outstanding issues with glx. since someone (who is thankfully
ignoring me so I can't "discuss" this directly with them)  on this
thread said that they didn't need to use the glx workaround, which I
think would be an amazing feat since this patch doesn't touch the glx
code at all and just the kernel glue. I just wanted the continued
existance of the glx issue on the record in this thread again for anyone
who might run across this and listen to chabotc and just expect this to
work without using LD_ASSUME_KERNEL.
