I've compiled several perl modules successfully as well..not Tk, I don't need it, but I've had good luck with all the perl modules I've need to install. But I do it from tarballs, not from the cpan interface. <cut to 15 minutes later> I just tried the Tk tarball on my phoebe system with rawhide updates..it seemed to compile and install just fine. Run all the test, creating a crap load of small windows and everything seemed to install clean. Now maybe I have an extra perl module in place or a rawhide "fix" that makes it go smoothly...but afaik, worksforme. -jef"this space for rent"spaleta
