Following this error out a bit further. It apears that this burn window came up when I put a blank CD in my burner. I selected files from my hard drive and from my cd reader to burn onto the cd burner. These files were only cached, since the cdr is still blank.

I suspect that cdrecord has a severe identification problem. It seems to want to burn onto my reader.

Anyway, when I launched xcdroast. I was prompted that my configuration has changed. Then I went into setup and selected the proper devices. Then I selected the same set of files to burn onto the blank cdr.

After burning the cdr with xcdroast. the burn came back with this output that is attached to this message.

still a bit confused to what is going on with these programs.
